Bo Hosch

Director of Culinary

You can be sure Bo knows his way around the kitchen. He started as a dishwasher at the age of 16 and from there was a prep cook, lead cook, sous chef, executive chef and director of food and operations. “My passion is bringing great food and service to my residents,” he says. “I always tell my staff, treat our residents how you could expect someone to treat your grandparents.” A strong compassion for others and commitment to the pursuit of excellence is what drives Bo to maintain a well-run food and beverage operation.

Bo’s been in senior living for almost 20 years, and also has experience as an Executive Chef at Hilton Hotels, as well as part-time lunch manager for Saint Paul’s school in Clearwater while in college. He’s catered weddings, 100th birthdays, and Congressional dinners. He's also cooked for Tampa Bay’s Warren Sapp. Bo holds a Culinary Arts degree from Pinellas Technical College and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. Petersburg College.

When he’s not making magic in the kitchen, Bo enjoys spending time with his partner, Deandria, and son, Manhattan. Not to mention a very talkative Siberian Husky named Brody. He also likes to write novels and work on his homemade brews. Bo’s dream vacation? A trip to Germany to see the Black Forest and taste all that great food and beer.
