Doris’s love of seniors began as a volunteer in a nursing home while she was growing up. She and an elder gentleman named Peter would play pool on Saturdays. She recalls how much he enjoyed spending time with her. “A small gesture can change a difficult day to a better day,” says Doris. It’s one reason that the core value of integrity speaks so strongly to her. “Everything a person does reflects who they are. I want to do my best to be a positive impact on others.”

Doris has eight years of experience in senior living as well as experience in teaching. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Fairleigh Dickenson University, and is CORE trained and licensed.

When she’s not handling community business, Doris likes to travel, bike, cook, and entertain (especially during football season). She also enjoys playing on the beach with her two grandchildren, and spending time with her two daughters and their husbands.
